Old Typed Recipes
This collection of recipes appear all to have been typed on a typewriter. Although, not the same typewriter as there is some variation in the type font and the paper.
Old Hand Written in a Book Recipes
In amongst the collection of old recipes were a selection in the same handwriting and had clearly been written in a book at some point. There’s a common red margin down the pages, and it all appears to have been written with the same fountain pen. Some of the recipes are torn / missing instructions, they’re all presented as we found them.

Old Recipes - Powder Puffs
2 eggs
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup cornflour
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon soda
Pinch of salt
Cook 5 to 6 minutes
Old Recipes - Fig Chutney
6 lbs figs
3/4 lb raisins
1/2 lb pres ginger
2 lb dates
1/4 lb almonds
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
2 quarts vinegar
2 teaspoons salt
Method:
Cut figs, dates, pres ginger, onions, almonds into pieces.
Boil vinegar & sugar, pour onto ingredients & let stand overnight.
Next day boil for about 3 hours or till thick and dark.
